2. How much is shipping and how is my bean bag shipped?

UPS Ground shipping rates will be applied at checkout. Please note, we ship the bean bag to you in 2 boxes and the rates we charge you are the rates we are charged by UPS - due to the size of the boxes they charge by volumetrics and not weight and this means you pay the equivalent of shipping a 110lb parcel (even though it only weights more like 15lb). Due to how Google works with UPS, a weight limit is placed on each order - frustratingly this means that you can only order and pay for one bean bag at a time (until Google fix this issue). If you try to order more than one bean bag then Google gives an Oops message and you will need to go back and remove the additional bean bags from your cart.

Your order will arrive as follows: Your chosen bean bag cover plus 2 boxes of beans. You will need to fill the bean bag cover yourself - noting that we use safety locking zips that require you to use a paper clip (included with the cover) to open the zipper. Please fill the bean bag well away from young children. We cannot be held responsible for any accidents or incidents which arise from stray polystyrene beads. We recommend filling the bean bag in a bath to limit cleaning afterwards.

3. When will you send my order and when should I expect it to receive it?

We send out all orders every Monday, you should allow up to 5 working days for your bean bag cover and filling to arrive.

We are sorry but it is currently not possible to collect the bean bags directly from our warehouse.

7. What is your returns policy?

We have done our best here at Designer Bean Bags to give you as much information as we think if required to make your purchase as easy as possible. Due to the prohibitive shipping costs we ask that all customers ensure they are not over or under ordering the amount of beans needed. All orders placed with Designer Bean Bags are covered by a 7 day money back guarantee. If within 7 days of receipt of your order you are not satisfied, you are entitled to an identical replacement or a refund of the cost of the goods less all shipping costs and a 10% re-stocking fee providing the goods have not been used and are returned in a condition deemed suitable by us for resale. You must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the goods for us to process a return. Any returns requested after 7 days without notification will be rejected. 8. What are your terms and conditions?

A. General

In these conditions of sale: The "company" means Bluesea Dream Limited; the "purchaser" means the person ordering or buying goods from No contract between the purchaser and The Company shall exist until the purchaser's order has been accepted by The Company. The order shall be deemed to be accepted once The Company has authorised the purchaser's payment. It is the intention of that all terms of a contract between the purchaser and The Company are contained in this document and in the descriptions of goods provided on the Bluesea Dream website ( for items. If the purchaser wishes to rely on any variation to these terms he/she is asked to ensure that such variations are confirmed in writing to The Company before he/she places an order. To protect your own interests please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order.

B. Despatch and Payment

Unless otherwise specified the price quoted is the actual item cost. A shipping charge is added to the item separately with the cost displayed within the item description and added at checkout. This website is only currently able to deliver to Continental USA. Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. All orders placed with will be dispatched every Wednesday using UPS Ground shipping service.

Orders placed via website can be paid with either a credit or debit card and are handled via Google Checkout. Payments are handled by their secure servers and you will be directed to Google's website at the payment stage of checkout. The Company uses carriers and postal services to deliver goods and The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the purchaser through any delay in shipping caused by such companies.

C. Retention of Title

The Company and the purchaser agree that title shall transfer to the purchaser only when the goods have been paid for in full. The Company shall be entitled to require the purchaser to deliver up the goods until such time that all due payments have been made in full. The purchaser shall store the goods free of charge and in a manner to ensure the goods are safe from theft and damage.

D. Risk

As soon as The Company has delivered the goods, the purchaser is responsible for them, until such time as the goods are delivered back to The Company or The Company's agent, in the event of cancellation or refund.

E. Cancellation

Under the terms of the distance selling regulations 2000, the purchaser has a cooling off period of 7 days. The cooling off period commences the day after the shipping of the goods to the purchaser or the collection of the goods by the purchaser and the period ends 7 working days later. In such circumstances, the purchaser must inform The Company in writing before the end of the 7th working day following shipping. The purchaser is responsible for the safe storage of the goods whilst in his care and the cost of returning the goods to The Company. In the circumstance of a non-faulty product, the product must be returned without damages, any use or tampering with the original packaging otherwise they will not be accepted and a refund not permitted.

F. Circumstances beyond our Control

The Company reserves the right to cancel, vary or suspend the operation of contracts of sales if events occur which are beyond our control including (and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) fire, floods, storm, plant breakdown, lock-outs, riots, industrial action which prevents entry to premises, hostilities, non-availability of materials or supplies or any event outside the control of The Company and The Company shall not be held liable for any breach of contract resulting from such an event.

G. Law

These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with UK law.

As all the bean bags we sell are weatherproof, they can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, we do not recommend leaving them permanently outdoors but advise to bring them in when not in use. Cleaning is a simple task, take a damp cloth and simply wipe clean any spills.
